Heavy Rain Predicted in Several Tamil Nadu Districts - 05 May, 2024

The Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted heavy rain in several districts of Tamil Nadu on May 7 and 8. However, above-normal heat conditions will continue in other districts with temperatures ranging from 41 to 43 degrees Celsius till May 8.

Ind-Ra Estimates Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat to Achieve $1 Trillion Mark by FY39 - 08 Apr, 2024

According to Ind-Ra, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat are expected to be the first states to achieve a $1 trillion economy by FY39. However, they may miss their targets as per their respective state goals. Tamil Nadu is expected to reach the target by 2030, while Uttar Pradesh will only achieve it by FY42. India aims to reach the $5 trillion mark by FY28, with only three states expected to be near $0.5 trillion at the current growth rate.
