About Super Tannery Ltd

Super Tannery Ltd is a tanning company run by Ehsan Kareem and family since 1984. As a Government of India recognised Export House, Super Tannery has departments dedicated to the production of finished leather, leather garments, as well as shoes. In 1993, the company underwent an expansion and modernisation programme in Kanpur to increase their installed capacity for shoe production from 2.4 lac pairs to 7.2 lac pairs. Super Tannery exports its product to several regions such as Europe, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In addition, the company has a buyback agreement with H H Brown Shoe Company. The government of India also launched a scheme to assist modernisation projects for existing tanneries. The scheme was successfully implemented by Super Tannery in 200001 and M/s Super ShoesIndia Ltd became a subsidiary to the company.
