About Savera Industries Ltd

Savera Hotels Ltd (SHL) was incorporated in 1969 and owns and operates a 4 star hotel located in Chennai. 1995 saw SHL tap the capital market in order to expand its room capacity from 125 to 261 rooms as well as other facilities, including new conference halls. The company has also changed its name from Savera Enterprises to Savera Hotels in order to more accurately reflect the nature of its business, and to expand into other cities in Tamil Nadu. To this end, SHL has already opened a Pub Restaurant in Bangalore at the end of 2001, which has been well-received by patrons. The company’s renovations and expansions are all funded through internal accruals, with no need for loans from outside institutions.
