About Samkrg Pistons & Rings Ltd

Samkrg is a major supplier to the auto industry and commenced operations in 1988, overcoming the recession in the auto sector in 199394. 8595% of their sales is for OEM customers and the rest is for the replacement market. The company has a focus on high-value added and import-substitute products, having successfully developed sophisticated piston ring assemblies for two-wheelers, four-wheelers and other vehicles that meet the fuel efficiency and pollution norms. They further expanded their pistons plant in 1999-2000, increasing their capacity to 1 million per annum, with a further expansion of 50 million nos., 100 million nos. and 50 million nos. for pistons, pistion rings and piston pins respectively, involving an investment of Rs.6.43 crore. They have entered into agreements with Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India, Japan for technology upgradation,and supply product to Piaggio, Italy and Tecumseh, Europa. Samkrg has been in operation since 1988, utilizing high value-added technology and import substitute products to meet fuel efficiency and pollution norms for two and four-wheelers, tractors, stationary engines and others. Leveraging their success and expertise, they have expanded their capacity from 0.5 million to 50 million nos. for pistons, piston rings and piston pins, investing Rs. 6.43 crore and entering into agreements with Honda, Piaggio and Tecumseh for technology upgradation and product supply.
