About Ramasigns Industries Ltd

Rammaica India was incorporated in 1981 as Ram Decorative and Industrial Laminates and traded in laminates, plywood and other allied materials under the name Ram Company since 1957. It manufactures and markets a variety of products such as decorative and industrial laminates, plywood, black boards, flush doors, under brands including Rammaica, Ramply, Ramopal, Ramlam, Ramboard and Ramdoor. In 1994 it tapped the capital market to partfinance its diversification-cum-expansion program and even made a breakthrough in exporting decorative laminates. For its export performance, productivity and innovation, it was awarded the Niryat Rattan Award and a gold medal by the Indian Council For Small And Medium Exporters in February 1995. The company set up cargo and courier division which was discontinued in 1995-96 due to uneconomical operation. It has two subsidiaries, Maharastra Laminates Ltd and Hanuman Laminates India Ltd.
