About Rama Phosphates Ltd

Rama Phosphates Limited (RPL), established in 1984, has been a profit-making business belonging to the Ramsinghani Group. RPL produces two primary products; 66000 tpa of single super phosphate (SSP) fertilizers and 33000 tpa of sulphuric acid. In 1995, RPL merged Krishi Rasayan, its loss-making subsidiary, with the Indore plant and increased the capacity of SSP from 0.66 lakh MT to 1.66 lakh MT. They also introduced new chemicals like chlorosulphonic acid which is used as an intermediate in the pharmaceutical industry. The demand for their products grew, and they increased their capacity from 4.78 lakh MT to 5.63 lakh MT in 2015-16. RPL introduced value-added fertilizers with boron and zinc and restarted their acid plant in July 2015. In 2021, the company began producing a new product with LABSA, Phospho Gypsum, and Solar Power. 2021-22 saw RPL undertake revamping and de-bottlenecking of the Sulphuric Acid division. RPL continues to provide quality products with innovative technology and increase production and quality of farm produce for the Indian market.
