About Rajasthan Cylinders & Containers Ltd

Rajasthan Cylinders Containers Limited is a public limited company incorporated on 24th December 1980. It’s into the business of manufacturing and selling LPG cylinders, valves, regulators and providing refilling services of LPG Gas. In order to comply with the clause 40A of Listing Agreement, Mr. Avinash Bajoria, Mr. Ashutosh Bajoria and Mr. Krishna Gopal Bajoria, promoters/promoter group, divested their shareholding in the company by way of Offer for Sale through Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) on 23rd July 2014. Consequently, the public shareholding in the company rose from 11.55% to 26.37%, while the shareholding of promoters/promoter group came down from 88.45% to 73.63%. The equity shares of the company got listed with BSE Limited with effect from 16th October 2014 under the direct listing norms and are currently listed with the Jaipur Stock Exchange Limited. During the year 2014-15 the company had given loan to its associate company worth Rs 128 lakhs. During FY 2017-18 the company had given loans amounting Rs.50 lakhs to two other associate companies and had made investments in equity of its associate company Beetle Tie-Up Private Limited worth Rs.2 lakhs. While during the financial year 2018-19 the company had given loans of Rs 1.03 crores and Rs 3.64 lakhs to two group companies for business purposes respectively. The Board of Directors of the Company decided to voluntary delist its equity shares from Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited while continuing the listing of its equity shares at BSE Limited.
