About Nahar Polyfilms Ltd

Nahar Polyfilms Ltd. is a public company established in 1988 and focuses on manufacturing BiAxially Oriented Polypropylene Films (BOPP). Primarily exporting cotton hosiery garments and knitwear, it set up a 25,000 spindle spinning unit in 1992 that further expanded to 40,128 spindles by 1994, necessitating a Rights Issue to part finance the expansion. Its products were mainly used as raw materials for hosiery textiles, woollen garments, and furnishings fabrics. The company was awarded the ISO 9002 certification in 1995, and increased its spinning unit to 50,000 spindles. In 2010, the company then diversified into the BOPP film plant, investing 300 crore INR in Madhya Pradesh. In 2011, its name changed to Nahar Poly Films Ltd. and it began its commercial production of BOPP in 2022 with a total installed capacity of 60,000 TPA.
