About Nagarjuna Agri Tech Ltd

Nagarjuna Agri Tech Pvt Ltd was founded in Nov 1987 and originally manufactured and dealt in herbal and ayurvedic medicines. Following the Government’s economic liberalisation and encouragement of floriculture, the company was renamed Nagarjuna Agri Tech Pvt Ltd in Apr 1994 and was converted to a public limited company the following year. To fund their project, the company issued 46.2 million equity shares worth Rs 462 lakh in Apr 1996. They also have marketing agreements with Stockhorst Netherlands and Florimex Holland, and direct markets in Singapore, Australia, and Japan. As the new millennium approaches, demand for flowers is expected to skyrocket, allowing Nagarjuna Agri Tech to export 11.25 million cutrose flowers each year from five one-hectare greenhouses.
