About Mukat Pipes Ltd

Mukat Pipes, founded in 1987, is a closelyheld company that manufactures Submerged Arc Welded SAW pipes. The company's expansion project saw the installation of a capacity of 20000 tpa, in order to produce pipes of diameter ranging from 16 inches to 130 inches - a much larger capability compared to others in the industry (SAW Pipes is limited to 40 inches).The products are mainly used in oil and gas transportation, as well as in water and sewage transportation, and erecting oil platforms. To finance this endeavour, a public issue was made in Jan. 1993, worth Rs. 16.9cr.The expansion project, completed in 2002/2003, allowed the company to use this larger capacity upon production.
