About Modi Rubber Ltd

Modi Rubber Ltd (MRL), a B K Modi group company, manufactures automobile tyres and is one of the most modern tyre manufacturing plants in Asia. It entered into a technical collaboration with Continental Aktiengesellschaft and set up a roadway tire plant at Modipuram. Currently, MRL has a 12.4 market share and an excellent export performance, exporting to countries such as Vietnam, the US, the UK, Bangladesh, Syria, and Latin American countries. In addition, the company has also setup facilities for the manufacture of automobile tubes and launched a new range of truck and LCV tyres for heavy load areas. To increase its market share, the company plans to tap into normal load areas like South India and West Zone with upgraded technology tires. To allow existing promoters to come up with an open offer, MRL has spoken to potential NRI investors and is awaiting a final approval of a proposal to receive 810 million in investments.
