About Lotus Eye Hospital & Institute Ltd

Lotus Eye Care Hospital is a state-of-the-art, superspecialty eye care hospital group operating in South India. Established in 1997, the hospital has three main operating centers in Coimbatore, Salem, and Tirupur. It is fitted with 9 operation theaters, 3 Lasik laser equipments, and has a total of 120 beds exclusive of the beds used in eye camps. In the year 1998, Lotus became the first hospital in South East Asia to introduce Multi Scan Lasik and in 2002, wave front based Esiris Custom Lasik in India for the first time. Moreover, in July 2004, Lotus was the first hospital to introduce Epilasik, and Zyoptix Integrated Epilasik in June 2005. In 2006-2007, Dr S K Sundaramoorthy, promoter of the company merged his business Dr. S. K. S. Eye Care Centre Pvt. Ltd. to the company. With its modern setup, hitech eye care equipment, and ophthalmic experts, Lotus Eye Care Hospital is dedicated to providing the best of eye care services in the region.
