About Kothari Fermentation & Biochem Ltd

Kothari Fermentation & Biochem (KFBL) is an Indian food production company established in 1990 by Motilal Kothari and associates. Located in Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, KFBL produces various yeast-based products, all under the brand name "Sunrise". The diverse range of products includes compressed yeast, dried yeast, distiller yeast, improvers, extract paste, and extract powder. These yeasts are widely used in the production of bread, beer brewing, and as a source of vitamins in food and pharmaceuticals. Unfortunately, KFBL's net worth has since been fully eroded, prompting them to refer to the Board of Industrial and Financial Restructuring (BIFR).
