About Karma Energy Ltd

Karma Energy Ltd is a public limited company engaged in the generation of power from renewable energy sources, predominantly wind energy, operating wind farms in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Pursuant to a scheme of arrangement, the name of the company was changed from Karma Wind Power Ltd to Karma Energy Ltd. and seven subsidiary companies were created. The company's shares were made listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange, and in August 2011, it approved a scheme of amalgamation with Avirodh Financial Services. The company is focusing on the core business of power generation from renewable energy sources and is expecting to commission a 3.5 MW small hydel project in Chamba Himachal Pradesh. It plans to add an installed capacity of minimum 10-15 MW wind energy farms each year.
