About K G Denim Ltd

KG Denim Limited (KGDL) was founded in Jun.92 as a public limited company and began production of its denim fabric in Jan.94 with an installed capacity of 10.5 mln mtr pa. Offering a variety of sizes, shades, weaves, blends and weights in 8 colors (indigo blue, sulphur black, light blue, green, violet, orange, yellow & purple), the company is involved in exports and supplies fabric to many indigenous manufacturers. In 199596, KGDL enhanced its presence by launching its own 'Trigger' brand of jeans and marketing its garments. In 199697, the company further increased its capacity to 19 million mtrs per annum by an additional expenditure of Rs. 4200 lakhs (with Rs. 2729 lakhs spent till date). KGDL also obtained the ISO 14001 Certification from KPMG Quality Registrar Holland during 19992000 to maintain international standards for its environment management system.
