JK Agri Genetics Limited is an agrigenetics company founded in 2000. The company specializes in research, production, processing, and marketing of high quality hybrid seeds for different crops such as cotton, maize, paddy, pearl millet, sorghum, mustard, wheat, and other vegetables. It has production, processing, and R & D facilities in over 10 states across India as well as its own state-of-the-art biotech laboratory with specialized facilities for transgenic crop development, molecular biology, and more. In addition, they were the first Indian company to commercialize Bt. Cotton with GM technology in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur and also launched several crops, products, and vegetable items throughout the year.
