About Investment & Precision Castings Ltd

IPCL (Precision Castings Limited) is an investment casting foundry with machining facilities based in India. It was established in 1975 under technical collaboration with Arwood International USA. It supplies a variety of components to the automotive and valve industries, such as transmission parts, pre-combustion chambers and clutch parts for the auto industry and butterfly valve discs and gate valve wedges for the valve industry. Furthermore, the company also provides general engineering products for the air-conditioning, textile, agricultural machinery, printing machinery, and refrigeration industries. Additionally, it manufactures electrical and instrumentation products including heavy duty electrical switch gears and navigational instruments for aerospace. With its in-house CNC Machine shop and dedicated machining vendors, IPCL is also capable of supplying fully machined components to customers. Recently, in August 2010, the company incorporated a subsidiary IPCL Vacuum Cast Ltd. which has enabled IPCL to produce its own Ceramic cores and Ceramic moulds to meet its customers' needs of very large piece weight investment castings up to 150 kgs.
