About International Conveyors Ltd

International Conveyors Limited (ICL) is an Indian based company engaged in the manufacturing of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) conveyor belt solutions for the mining sector and other industries. Founded in 1973 by R.K. Dabriwala, it has been ISO 9001:2008 certified and holds around 45% of the Indian underground PVC mine conveyor belt market. ICL has three main segments: conveyor belting, wind energy, and unallocated/corporate. Conveyor belting involves generating and selling PVC conveyor belts, while contracts from global and domestic tenders are used to source for products to supply the Indian and foreign markets. The wind energy segment is involved in generating and selling wind power electricity. The fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 saw ICL producing 349,330 meters of PVC fire resistant antistatic solid woven coal conveyor belting, with a capacity of 700-800 meters of PVC fire resistant antistatic solid woven and 420,000 meters of conveyor belting V belts. With the production of these fire resistant, anti-static belts, the company aims to meet the safety regulations of fire hazardous applications in the USA, Canada, South Africa, and Australia.
