About Hikal Ltd

Hikal Limited is an Indian-based company, incorporated in 1988, with global recognition in the pharmaceutical, crop protection, animal health, biocides and specialty chemicals industries. It has 5 manufacturing facilities in 3 states, producing various chemical intermediates, active pharma ingredients, APIs and contract research activities. With their multiple partnerships and technological expansion projects, they have achieved milestones such as receiving the 5 Star Safety Award from the UK British Safety Council and their promotion to a trading house status. They have acquired an agrochemical manufacturing site from Novartis India Limited, which was followed by an investment in a JV with a Sinochem Corporation China subsidiary. Furthermore, they provide human and animal health products, amongst others. Recent developments such as the long-term contracts with life science companies, the sale of the RD unit and the bonus share issuance to shareholders indicate the company's success.
