About HB Stockholdings Ltd

HB Stockholdings Ltd (HBSL), formerly known as HB Portfolio Leasing (HBPL), is a non-banking financial company (NBFC) in India that offers a variety of financial products and services including personal loans, commercial vehicle finance, housing loans, infrastructure finance, gold loans, microfinance, money transfer, insurance, education funding and customised finance solutions. Headquartered in Gurugram, the company operates from offices in New Delhi and Bombay. It went public in Dec. 1994, with 14 unsecured convertible debentures worth Rs 65 each with one optional detachable, tradeable warrant. In the year 2000, despite the volatile capital market, HBSL was able to remain unaffected with its consolidated and restructuring of investments portfolio. In Dec 2017, the Hon'ble NCLT sanctioned a scheme of arrangement between HBSL, HB Portfolio and HB Estate Developers and their respective shareholders and creditors, which came into effect on Jan 30, 2018. The scheme included the demerger of HBSL and HBPL and transfer and vesting of the same into HB Portfolio and HB Estate Developers respectively.
