About Ganges Securities Ltd

Ganges Securities Limited (GSL), a part of K K Birla Group of Industries, was incorporated in March 30 2015. The business operations conducted by this company include investment deals in securities, primarily of group companies and in immovable properties. During 2020-21, the Board of Directors of the Company approved a voluntary delisting of equity shares from The Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited (CSE) as no trading of the equity shares had been done at CSE since its listing date. The Board also approved a change of Appointed Date for Scheme of Amalgamation between GSL and Uttar Pradesh Trading Company Limited from 1st April 2019 to 1st April 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and consequent lockdown in the country. Further, the Board approved applying for the registration of the Company as NBFC in order to simplify its group structure. GSL through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Uttar Pradesh trading company limited and Cinnatolliah Tea Limited provides a variety of services such as investing in securities and operating in the tea business. These business initiatives are in accordance with RBI guidelines, and strive to ultimately simplify and strengthen the companies within the group.
