About Ganga Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Established in 1989 as a private limited company, Ganga Pharmaceuticals has been backed by the same promoter, Brij Mohan Sharma, since its inception. The company sprung into a public limited company in August 1994 and took over Ganga Pharmaceuticals - a proprietor concern with decades' worth of experience in manufacturing and selling ayurvedic products. In April 1995, the firm started production commercially and in July 1996, it released public issue to raise funds for the expansion of its new ayurvedic medicines manufacturing unit in Murbad, Maharashtra. Additionally, since January 1996, Ganga Pharmaceuticals has in place marketing collaborations with parties in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Italy, Romania and Russia who promote its products in their regions.
