About Filatex India Ltd

Filatex India Ltd. was established as a Public Limited Company in 1990, with a goal of manufacturing Polyester Chips, Polyester/Nylon/Polypropylene, and Narrow Fabrics. In 1995, the company added a Wind power project to its operations in Tamil Nadu and 1995-96 saw the increase of its installed capacity for Polyester Yarn to 700 TPA and premiering its first public issue of 3.5 million equity shares. In 1997-98 they enlarged its Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) by 8700 tons, and issued a preferential equity offer of 1.5 Million to its promoters. To increase their scope, they opened a unit in Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and in 2008 they began production of Fully Drawn Yarn. In order to further capitalise the expansion of the Filatex Global Pte Limited, subsidiaries were opened in 2015. Recently (in 2020-2021) they started and commercial production of 100 TPD of Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn, 115 TPD of Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn, Value Added Product Expansion of DTY 200 TPD, Thermal Power Plant of 30 MW capacity, 1.0 MW Captive Rooftop Solar Power Generation at Dahej and 0.4 MW Captive Rooftop Solar Power Generation at Dadra.
