About Emerald Leisures Ltd

Established in 1933, Apte Amalgamations Ltd initially operated as The Phaltan Sugar Works Limited with the objective of producing sugar. Over the years, their scope of operations expanded to encompass textiles, chemicals and food processing. In 1981-82 the sugar factory was sold to the local management and the name of the company was changed to Apte Amalgamations Ltd. Operations of their Swastik Textile Mills ceased in 1988-89 due to unviability. Since then, the company has been selling the Swastik Mill land in incremental quantities, and is currently active in trading of securities while exploring the development potential of its remaining land.
