About EMA India Ltd

Established in 1971, EMA India EIL is a public limited company and the leader in the manufacturing and supply of induction heating equipments. Its products include heat treatment furnaces and honing machines which cater to a broad range of industries from automotive to defense. Technical collaborations with Gehring, Germany and two companies, one in Germany and one in the UK, have allowed EMA India EIL to widen the scope of business, including exports to countries which Gehring has no licensing agreements in. Its clients include some of the leading players in the industry such as TELCO, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto BEML, Bajaj Tempo, etc.

EMA India EIL has been investing hugely in the research and development and modernisation of their products, resulting in a portfolio of two model honing machines which cater to almost the entire range of auto components requiring honing, reduced costs as well as delivery times. The company issued a public issue in 1986 to set up a project to manufacture precision honing machines, mainly used in the defense sector and automobiles, and also entered into agreements with two companies in 1991-1992 for obtaining latest technology IGBT transistor converters for induction heating applications.
