About Elango Industries Ltd

Elango Industries Limited is an India-based company that manufactures steel ingots from scrap metals. Located at Marathur Village, Maiyladuthurai Nagai District, the company focuses on external power contactor contracts for power plants. It was established in 1989, and after coming with a public issue in 1993 for ₹263 million, it decided to enter the power sector in 2005 with the promotion of Kaveri Gas Power Limited (KGPL). KGPL operates a natural gas-based electricity plant with 14 megawatt capacity at the same location as Elango Industries. During the 2010 financial year, the company had a capacity of 13,000 tons/year of steel ingots.
