About Ducon Infratechnologies Ltd

Ducon Infratechnologies Limited was incorporated in 2009 and is primarily involved in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). They are a leading manufacturer of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems in India. FGD is a set of technology used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from emissions from fossil fuel power plants and other similar sources. FGD is a two-stage process where the initial stage involves the removal of of fly ash and the second stage is SO2 removal. Ducon has supplied FGD systems to over 20000 MW of combined power plant capacity and can achieve over 99% SO2 removal efficiency. They have a competitive edge due to their proprietary technology for wet FGD.

In India, the company is credited for having installed the first ever Sea Water FGD system and the first ever Wet Limestone FGD system. Additionally, they are specialized in the design and supplying of complete turnkey Bulk Material Handling and Pneumatic Conveying systems. With its expertise the company is also into the new segments of Rural and Urban Electrification under Government schemes such as Deen Dayal Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) and Integrated Power Distribution Scheme (IPDS). Ducon is expanding further in this segment and plans to increase the volume of this segment.
