About Crest Ventures Ltd

Incorporated in October 1982 in Calcutta West Bengal, Sharyans Resources was a trading company initially engaged with synthetic yarns and fabrics. In March 1993, the company diversified its operations by focusing on housing development, finance leasing, hire purchase, investments in bonds & properties. An MoU was signed with Kalpataru Construction Overseas and J Henry Schroders Bank Switzerland for technical assistance. Additionally, in December 1993, they came out with a public issue with a premium of Rs. 5 to aid their diversification. Further, towards the end of 1995-96, they issued Right Issue of 3.51 million shares of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium of Rs. 25/- per share which was successfully subscribed.
