About Cosmo First Ltd

Cosmo Films CFL is a pioneer in the manufacturing of bi-axially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, used in the consumer product industry for packaging. Operating two plants in Aurangabad and Waluj, Maharashtra, The company achieved an ISO 9002 certification and has an export history starting in 1994. To keep up with demand, Cosmo Films have acquired land at Nashik, Maharashtra, with a projected installation capacity of 17000 MTPA. Acquiring 76.51% stake in Gujarat Propack, and having won the Best BOPP Exporter Award from PLEXCONCIL for 1998-99, Cosmo Films is now the second largest player in the Indian BOPP film industry. Furthermore, with recently completed debottlenecking programmerevamping of Line III, increasing installed capacity to 13200 MTPA, and a bonus share ratio of 1:1, the total capacity now stands at 48600 MTPA.
