About BPL Ltd

BPL Limited, established in 1963, is one of India’s leading electronic industry companies manufacturing PCBs and electronic components. It is the only company to be awarded the BZT reputation for export to Germany and holds numerous awards for its outstanding export performance including the Elcina award 199192. The company has strong ties with Sanyo Japan, enabling an expanded product range, and in 2008 appointed Nokia Phones as its local distributor in India. BPL entered into an export-oriented project with Sanyo Japan to manufacture alkaline batteries, whilst in 200102 the first integrated Home Theatre Solution was introduced. Subsequently, the company got ISO 14000 EMS Energy Management Systems Certification, restructured their Colour Television CTV business with a 50 : 50 joint venture between BPL and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. Japan and, more recently, infused Rs 92 crores to revive the company. In the decade that followed, the company went on to launch multiple products in the ECG, Patient Monitoring, Defibrillator, Women and Child Care areas, and successfully transferred its medical equipment business to BPL Medical Technologies Private Limited, which later became a subsidiary in 2014 backed by The Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Currently, BPL is a leading company with two subsidiaries - Bharat Energy Ventures Limited (BEVL) and BPL Power Projects AP Private Limited (BPPL). The company consistently strives to grow its already vast product range, offering customers an array of solutions across multiple categories.
