About Bluechip Tex Industries Ltd

Blue Chiptex Industries Ltd, formerly known as Blue Chip Texfuel Industries, was incorporated as a private limited company on 17 Sep. 85 and converted to a public limited company on 25 Sep. 85. Promoted by five people - Balkrishna Rochlani, Vijay Rochlani, Shashi Rochlani, Jayant Modi and Manoj Modi - the company set up a texturising unit at Silvassa and a fuel briquettes manufacturing unit in Bhiwandi Thane district. To finance the project, it released a public issue in Feb.86. The texturising plant began operations in Oct.86, while the fuel briquetting plant started in Jan.87. It markets its texturised and twisted yarn under the 'Blue Chip' brand, and the briquettes under the 'Blue Burn' brand. In the same year, the capacity of texturised and twisted yarn was also increased.
