About SBI Children's Benefit Fund
SBI Magnum Children's Benefit Fund is a solution-oriented hybrid mutual fund. This fund is for parents to invest and build a financial corpus for their children. The fund has a lock-in of 5 years or till the child attains the age of maturity (whichever is earlier).
The fund follows CRISIL Hybrid 35+65 Aggressive Index as its benchmark. This index is used to measure aggressive hybrid funds that allocate 65% of their assets to equity securities and the balance 35% to debt securities. This helps measure the funds' performance with that of the broader market index.
SBI Mutual Fund carefully assesses the fundamentals of the business, quality of management and market leadership to invest in companies without any sectoral or market cap bias. The Fund maintains a strong focus on sectors like Financials, FMCG, Retail, Textile, Consumer Goods, etc.
