"Qualys, Inc. offers compliance management solutions and information technology security risk solutions. The company provides various products for policy compliance, security products, malware detection, vulnerability management, and web application scanning. The company's products help protect the information technology systems from cyber-attacks and help achieve compliance with external regulations and internal policies. The company further provides solutions using the software-as-a-service model, with annual subscriptions. Qualys was founded in 1999 by Philippe F. Courtot. The headquarter of the company is I Foster City, CA. The ticker of the company is QLYS. The company's active customer base is more than 19,000 in over 130 countries, including the majority in Fortune 100 and the Forbes Global 100. The company helps to consolidate and streamline the security and compliance solutions to build security in the digital transformation initiatives. It allows them to create a platform for greater agility, substantial cost savings, and better business outcomes. The company has various partnerships with huge clients and organizations, such as Dell SecureWorks, Wipro, IBM, BT, Fujitsu, NTT, Verizon, and Symantec. Qualys is also a founding member of the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance). The vision of Philippe (CEO of the company) was super unique. He wanted to build a cloud delivery platform that would allow people to scan any network in the world. The Intranet Scanner of the company QualysGuard was launched in the year 2022 that automatically could scan the corporate LANs for malware and vulnerabilities. In 2021, the company went public on NASDAQ and raised net proceeds of $87.5 million. In 2016, the company released ThreatPROTECT. It is a vulnerability and threat detection service for the cloud-based platform. The certification was received by the CMDBs (Configuration Management Databases) App for ServiceNow to integrate the application with the ServiceNow system.
