"Morgan Stanley was founded in 1913 and is based in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. The firm has offices in more than 42 countries and more than 60,000 workers. Morgan Stanley secured 67th position on the 2018 Fortune 500 list of the top firms in the United States. The company has been at the heart of American finance for more than 85 years. It mobilises money to assist governments, organisations, financial institutions and people all around the world in achieving their financial goals. Morgan Stanley will continue to create new ground in advising, servicing and delivering new possibilities for its customers in the future. Founded in 1837, Morgan Stanley was a financial services company that merged with Dean Witter Discover & Co. in 1997.
