An engineering-first org, Qualcomm Inc. has three main business segments: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (semiconductor business), Qualcomm Technologies Licensing (the company’s licensing business), and Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives (strategic investments business). In 2021 fiscal, the revenues generated by each of these segments stood at $27,019 million, $6320 million, and $45 million, respectively. The company’s adjusted revenue jumped 12% YoY to stand at $9.3 billion in Q4 2021, and non-adjusted revenue jumped 43% YoY. The non-adjusted net income rose 75% YoY to $2.9 billion in Q4 2021 compared to $1.7 billion in Q4 2020. The non-GAAP adjusted EPS surged 76% YoY to $2.55, yielding better returns for stockholders.
