About American Shared Hospital Services

American Shared Hospital Services specializes in leasing advanced radiosurgery and radiation therapy equipment to healthcare providers. The company offers Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery systems, a non-invasive technology used to treat conditions such as malignant and benign brain tumors, arteriovenous malformations, and trigeminal neuralgia. They also facilitate financing for Leksell Gamma Knife units. Additionally, the firm operates proton beam radiation therapy centers in Orlando, Florida, and Long Beach, California. Customers further benefit from comprehensive support encompassing planning, installation, reimbursement guidance, and marketing strategies. As of December 31, 2021, their portfolio included 115 active Gamma Knife units across the United States, complemented by two units in South America (Lima, Peru, and Guayaquil, Ecuador), and one proton beam radiation therapy system.
