About Vidhi Specialty Food Ingredients Ltd

Vidhi Dyestuffs Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, incorporated in Jan.94, is an Indian company manufacturing food colours. It was converted into a public limited company in Mar.95 and was mainly promoted by four individuals. To part-finance their project, the company had a public issue of 1750000 equity shares of Rs 10 each, for cash at par, aggregating to Rs 175 lac in Feb.96. The 301 tpa plant at Roha, Raigad district, Maharashtra, commenced commercial production of Synthetic organic dyestuffs in 1997. The company has also tied up with the Hong Kong based Tai Cheong Trading Co for exporting 15 ton per month of food colours. In 19992000, the company was awarded the BS EN ISO 9002: 1994 certification by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), an international accredited certification body.
