About Ujaas Energy Ltd

Ujaas Energy Limited, previously known as M and B Switchgears, is a leading provider of solar energy solutions in India, specializing in the design, development, operation, ownership and maintenance of solar energy power plants. Founded in 1979 as a sole-proprietorship, they became a corporate entity in 1999. In 2011 they completed their initial public offer with the issue of 5,000,000 equity shares of INR 10 each. Since 2012, Ujaas Energy has received a Clean Development Mechanism and Certified Emissions Reduction Certificate from the UN Framework Convention, allowing them to claim credits for generating electricity. To date, they have managed to successfully commission over 105.18 MW of solar power projects from 210 MW of installed solar power projects, and have also entered the booming solar EPC market in FY17. In 2018 they managed to execute 17 MW of solar plants.
