About Tierra Agrotech Ltd

Tierra Agrotech Limited (established in 2013, Hyderabad) is a premier seed research, development & production company. It offers several greenhouses, more than 50 acres of breeding farms with drip irrigation, 3 RD units in Bangalore, Pune and Gurgaon, and 30 product trialing centres across the country for superior products in major crops such as cotton, rice, pearl millet, corn, mustard, tomato, pepper and okra. In 2012, Tierra Group was established. In 2013, the Company’s RD Center was recognized by DSIR, Govt. of India. In 2015, Tierra Group formed a joint venture with Iden Biotechnology from Spain. The Company acquired India’s branded cotton seed businesses from Monsanto and Xylem in 2017. During the FY 2018-19, it launched its own Corn, Rice & Mustard products. In 2019, the Company merged with Xylem Seeds and launched vegetable seed business in 2020. In 2021, it introduced new soybean, black gram and fodder beet in India.
