About Texel Industries Ltd

Founded in 1989, Texel Industries Ltd. is an India-based company, located in Kalol, Gujarat, primarily manufacturing speciality coated fabrics protection covers, and other related products. It saw a capacity expansion and diversification in 1994 to 2195 tons of wider-width lower-weight speciality fabrics and PE protection covers, with a new factory established for this purpose in Santej near Ahmedabad. The company offers various products, such as tunnel lining membrane, roof tile underlay, pile liner, reinforced concrete columns, and geo membrane resistant to highly corrosive acids, and has recently diversified into the manufacture of coated paper used in flexible packaging. In the fiscal year of 199697, the company earned Rs. 3.71 cr from exports of its value-added products, with these sales expected to increase as a result of finalizing some important contracts.
