About Tejassvi Aaharam Ltd

Sterling Spinners, incorporated as a public limited company on 20th September 1994, is one of the associate companies of Savorit with an annual turnover of around Rs. 30 crores. It was promoted by the late Kolur Sreenivasan and K. S. Venugopal and included a project to set up a spinning mill in Padiyur Pudupatty Dindigul Anna district Tamilnadu, with an installed capacity of 12,096 spindles to produce 30s carded hosiery cotton yarn. To finance the project, the company came out with a public issue of 3.7 million equity shares of Rs. 10 each, in February 1996, for a total of Rs. 37 million. In the year 199697, the company achieved the full capacity of 12096 spindles while Lapasia Enterprise Madras had given an indication letter to take the reserved production of 30s carded hosiery cotton yarn. However, due to accumulated losses, the company became a sick industrial company under SICA 1985 in 2001.
