About Tarapur Transformers Ltd

Tarapur Transformers Ltd is a Power Engineering Solutions Company based in Mumbai and is a subsidiary of Bilpower Ltd. They are ISO 9001:200 certified and have multiple manufacturing sites across India, each equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, technology and a collective capacity of 1839.40 MVA manufacturing and 1800 MVA repairing of transformers per annum. The company was founded in 1998 and was initially promoted by Praful M Dharia, Rajesh Kumar Shah, and Praful M Shah. In 2010, Tarapur Transformers Ltd. undertook an Initial Public Offer with 8500011 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/each at a premium of Rs.65/per shares resulting in their listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
