Arunjyoti Enterprises Ltd is a public limited company established on February 12 2001 and listed on Calcutta Stock Exchange in 2003. They started operations in 2008 in Andhra Pradesh selling different agricultural products including seeds, fertilizers, and other agri inputs, and to expand the business ventured into a chain of retail outlets under the name TAAZA for fruits, vegetables, grocery, and FMCG. During the period of 201011, seven outlets were opened around Secunderabad, AP. They have a unique proposition of penetrating their outlets into neighborhood convenience shops and providing convenience-oriented one-stop monthly solutions and a high-end shopping experience. In 2010, their equity shares were listed on BSE, and the company is now aiming to open 200 outlets in two years and 1,000 outlets in the next six across South India. To win the confidence of their franchises, and prove the profitability of the business, they are currently operating company-owned and company-operated outlets.
