About Smartlink Holdings Ltd

Smartlink Holdings Ltd, formerly known as Smartlink Network Systems Ltd, was originally incorporated in Goa in March 1993 and spent three decades in the Networking Products line. The company restructured and now has three independent subsidiaries, Digisol Systems Ltd., Synegra EMS Ltd., and Telesmart SCS Ltd., focused on growth. The company is now an NBFC with investments in its subsidiaries. Starting software development activities in Goa in 2000, Smartlink was trained by DLink Corporation Taiwan in specialized software and now intends to penetrate the Specialized Software Segment. DLink Corporation holds a dominant position in the broadband space and was the first to design and deploy the ADSL 2 technology broadband modem. CRN Survey 2004 recognised DLink as the most admired networking company and with two manufacturing plants in Goa, two SMT lines operational, and plans to setup Fiber Optic Products manufacturing/assembly line, the company issued a public issue of 1523740 equity shares at Rs. 300 for further expansion. It also acquired two plots measuring 19000 sq.mtrs and has entered into a strategic tie-up with Corning Inc., Foundry Networks Inc, USA, and Giabyte Technology Ltd. Smartlink has also launched new products in the intelligent switching, wireless LAN, structured cabling, and motherboard space. The Hon’ble High Court of Bombay at Goa approved D-Link India’s merger in 2009 and two years later, the company launched the DIGISOL brand and acquired an additional plot and building. In 2011, Smartlink sold its DIGILINK Business to Schneider Electric India for Rs. 5030 million and transferred the Digisol Business to Digisol Systems Ltd. and EMS Business to Synegra EMS Ltd., in 2016.
