Company Information

Shrem InvIT was incorporated as an irrevocable trust under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 on 31 December 2020 and registered as an Infrastructure Investment Trust under the Securities and Exchange Board of India Regulation 2014 on 4 February 2021 with the sponsorship of Shrem Infrastructure Private Limited. The Fund has been formed to invest primarily in the road sector in India, has a portfolio of 24 road projects, and is operated by three companies (Shrem Roadways Private Limited, Shrem Infraventure Private Limited and Shrem Tollway Private Limited). All of these were acquired by the trust through the sponsor on 16 September 2021. The Fund offers attractive investment opportunities and has key players, such as the Sponsor, Trustee, Investment Manager and Project Manager. The major advantages of the InvIT are the capital recycling and further investments under the PPP mode, the ability for developers to release equity and deploy capital in new projects, and the regular return on capital infused.
