About Shardul Securities Ltd

Shardul Securities Ltd. (previously known as Shriyam Securities & Finance) was incorporated in 1985 by the name Spotlight Trade & Finance. After diversifying into the fields of merchant banking and capital market operations in 1993, the company went public in December 1995 and began operations soon after. Until 1988, the company's main source of income was lending, and it had not made any profits by April 1993. In September 1993, SSFL received registration from SEBI as a Category I merchant banker and went on to manage multiple rights, public issues, and acts as lead managers, co-managers, and advisors in the National Stock Exchange. Additionally, in order to promote further growth and diversification, the company launched a public issue of Rs 30 crore at a premium of Rs 20 per share.
