About Antelopus Selan Energy Ltd

Selan Exploration Technology Ltd is a public limited company, incorporated in 1985. It started seismic data acquisition work for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in the Cauvery Basin in south India in 1991, and has covered 1666 ground line kilometers (GLK) till 1995. Recently, it has got approval for oil and gas field development at Lohar Bakrol and Indrora. Selan has obtained physical possession of the oil fields and commenced oil production in January 1996. During 1998-99, it completed seismic data acquisition for 25 Sq. km area in the Indrora oilfield. Its net profit increased by 6 million in the financial year 1999-2000. The company is negotiating with the Ministry of Petroleum for the award of additional oil fields in the onshore Gujarat area.
