About SC Agrotech Ltd

Sheel International Limited was created in 1992 to produce dairy products such as Butter, Pure Ghee, Milk Powder, Skim Milk, and Liquid Milk. Under the Government of India's programs supporting adolescent and elderly nutrition, the company's products became popular. Unfortunately, due to an overcapacity in the Buland Shahar District and a shortage of Raw milk supply in Delhi, resulting in a price jump and cost of operations becoming non-viable, management was forced to end operations in November 1998. The company submitted an application to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR)/Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (AAIFR) for a declaration of bankruptcy but was declined due to the dismissal of the application/petition.
