About Sambhaav Media Ltd

Pearl Securities was incorporated in the 1980s and is now engaged in financial activities, wind energy and communications. In 1995, the company installed a pilot plant in Tamilnadu with two wind turbines and since then has developed a 12 mega watt wind farm in the coastal area of Saurashtra for captive and client use. An ambitious expansion ensued with proposed construction of 200 mega watt wind farms, and the collaboration with Cannon Power Corporation for additional power projects. In 1994, the firm merged with Samvaad Communications, gaining a presence in the media with a daily publication and a weekly newspaper. During the 95-96 time period, 31 wind turbines were successfully commissioned at a Rajkot district in Gujarat. However, the association with Cannon Power Corporation was eventually severed and the company is now seeking partnerships with other wind turbine manufacturers to continue power plant developments. Additionally, Pearl Securities has put in bids for a 197 KWH thermal power plant and a 32 million KWH power plant for Pipavav Port.
