About RTCL Ltd

RTCL Ltd. is a limited company which was established in March 1994 and was formerly known as Raghunath Tobacco Company Ltd. It is promoted by Om Prakash Agarwal Jai Prakash Agarwal and Sri Prakash Agarwal and is working on setting up a new unit to manufacture cigarettes at Chaudharipur Uttar Pradesh with an installed capacity of 2376 million cigarettes per annum. The company held a public issue of 3,880,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each, for an amount of Rs. 388 lakh. They started commercial production and selling under two brand names - CURRENT (69 mm Filtered Cigarettes and 59 mm Non Filtered Cigarettes) and PRESTIGE and SIR (69 mm Filtered Cigarettes). It also invested in 356000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each of Raghunath Securities and Credit Limited, which has become a subsidiary of the Company as the latter holds 72.20 of the former’s share capital.
